THREAD LIFT

threads work by “grabbing” on to, and attaching to the skin, lifting loose skin in the direction the doctor has precisely inserted the thread.

THREAD LIFT

The thread lift procedure is one of the most sought-after aesthetic treatments, ranking third after Botox/Fillers and PRP. Using threads as an alternative to a facelift is very common.

A PDO (Polydioxanone) thread lift is a minimally invasive procedure using dissolvable threads to lift and tighten the skin. Inserted with a fine needle, they lifts sagging facial skin for a youthful look. PDO threads, used in surgical stitches, stimulate collagen and act as a "scaffold" to hold the skin. Common areas treated include the midface, lower face, chin, and jawline. Side effects may include minor bruising and infection. Threads dissolve in 4-6 months, but effects last beyond a year or so.
